Does the organisation determine the role?

This question is particularly important in relation to collective vision creation with arena groups or platforms. The answer is no. Innovators can be found in various positions in society and in numerous organisations. The same applies to the other roles.

Something you do need to be aware of is that you are inviting people who will not be acting directly as representatives of their organisation or sector. See also under ‘Creating a vision'.
